* Low coefficient of friction - the second lowest of any solid material. PTFE is ideal for most moving parts, allowing them to glide effortlessly over surfaces.

* Excellent dielectric properties - Among the best thermally stable and non-conducting plastic materials, making it perfect for electrical insulators in circuit boards.
